Piccolino Pop!
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Piccolino Pop! (“the game”) is a free-to-play egg-shooter puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. This policy explains what the game does with data. In short: there is no account, your progress stays on your device (and in your own iCloud or Google account if you use Game Center or Google Play Games), and the only data that leaves it is what Google’s advertising and analytics services and the app stores need, with the choices described below.
Who we are
The iPhone and iPad version is published on the App Store by Agustin Aguilar. The Android version is published on Google Play by Delegas Labs, S.L. (Madrid, Spain). Both are developed by the same people and follow this policy. Contact: agustin@delegas.com.
No account, no server of ours
You do not create an account, and we do not run a game server that receives your progress. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location, and the game does not request those permissions.
- The game works offline. Your progress, settings and purchase records are stored on your device, in the app’s private storage.
- Transfer code. Settings → Copy transfer code puts a text code containing your game progress on the clipboard when you tap it (the game never reads your clipboard on its own), and it is up to you who you share it with. Settings → Load transfer code replaces the progress on that device with a code you paste.
- Device backups. If your device’s own backup service is on (for example iCloud on iPhone or Android’s backup to your Google account), it may include the game’s saved data, under that service’s terms.
Ads
The game shows optional rewarded ads (you choose to watch one for a reward, such as a continue, double coins, an extra life or a wheel spin) and occasional ads between levels, using Google AdMob. Ads between levels never appear for players who have made a purchase, bought “No Ads” or have Farm Club; rewarded ads always stay optional. There are no banner ads.
- Family-friendly. The game asks AdMob only for ads suitable for a general audience (the “G” content rating).
- Nothing at launch. No consent form, tracking question or ad request happens when you open the game. They happen only when the first ad is about to play.
- iPhone and iPad: only if you allow tracking. The first time an ad is about to play, iOS asks whether Piccolino Pop may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). Only if you choose “Allow” may Google use your device’s advertising identifier to show and measure personalized ads; if you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the game asks AdMob for non-personalized ads and the advertising identifier stays unavailable. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and declining never affects the game.
- Android: advertising ID. The Android app uses Android’s advertising ID so that Google can show and measure ads, including personalized ads where your consent choices and Google’s settings allow it. You can reset or delete the advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, at any time in your device’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device). Without it, ads are not personalized and the game works the same.
- What Google may still receive. To deliver, measure and protect ads, Google may process your IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), device and app information and identifiers, ad views and interactions, and crash and performance data. Google handles this under Google’s Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information in advertising.
- Your consent choices. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google’s User Messaging Platform shows a consent form before any ad is requested, and in US states with privacy laws it offers an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. You can review or change your choice later under Settings → Ad privacy choices, which appears whenever one of these forms applies to you. Refusing ad consent never stops you from playing.
Optional play statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
The game sends play statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase so we can understand how people play and tune levels, difficulty and performance. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and when the game cannot tell where you are), this is off until you say yes. The first time you reach the home screen the game asks “Help improve Piccolino Pop?” with “Share statistics” or “No thanks”, and a “no” is remembered. In other countries statistics start on and you can switch them off at any time. Everywhere you can change your mind in Settings → Share play statistics, and declining never blocks the game.
While statistics are on, the events describe how you play: when you open and leave the game and for how long, the screens you open, levels and bosses started, won, lost or quit (with the world and level, score, stars, shots fired, eggs popped and dropped, chicks rescued, reactions triggered, time and the reason for a loss), boss phases, continues, boosters and power eggs used, hens hatched, levelled up and put in your squad, outfits, the tutorial steps you completed, map navigation, live events, secrets found, achievements, daily gifts, quests, wheel spins and the season pass, coins and gems earned and what they were spent on, which offers and products you saw, started to buy or bought (with the price and currency the store charged) and the outcome of a purchase or restore, ad offers and their outcomes, settings you change, Game Center or Google Play Games sign-in, and frame timing. A few simple summary labels about your progress go with them: how far you have got, a rough star and gem band, how many hens you own, how many days you have played, and yes/no labels for whether you have made a purchase, have an active Farm Club subscription, play without ads, own expansions or have the Golden Pass. The game sends only events and fields from a fixed list; it does not send your name, email address, transfer code, full save, receipts, transaction IDs, touch positions, precise location or anything you type.
As with any app that uses Google Analytics for Firebase, Google also receives standard technical data: the app version, the operating system and device model, language, an approximate region derived from the IP address, and a random app-instance identifier. The game turns off the collection of advertising identifiers and device identifiers by Analytics, and keeps ad storage, ad personalization and ad user-data sharing turned off for Analytics. Google processes this data as our service provider; see Firebase privacy and security.
Withdrawing consent. Turning the switch off stops collection immediately and resets the analytics identifier on your device. Resetting your progress also withdraws consent first (in countries where statistics start on, a fresh start begins with them on again). Data Google has already processed is not deleted retroactively, but it is not linked to your name, and it is kept only for the retention period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
Game Center, Google Play Games and cloud saves
If you sign in to Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game reports your achievements and leaderboard scores (stars, total score, biggest avalanche, longest win streak, eggs popped and chicks rescued) to that service, and keeps a copy of your game progress in your iCloud account (Game Center saved games) or your Google account (Play Games Saved Games) so it can follow you to another device. If the saved copies differ, the game asks which one to keep. The cloud copy contains gameplay progress only, never purchase receipts, settings or consent choices. The sign-in sheet appears only when you open a Game Center or Play Games feature, never by surprise at launch. These services show your player name, achievements and scores to other players under Apple’s or Google’s own privacy policies and settings; we do not receive your account details. To delete a cloud copy, use iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, or the Google Play Games app.
Purchases and subscriptions
The game is free. Optional purchases (gem packs, bundles, the Starter Basket, “No Ads”, the Piggy Bank, world expansions, the Golden Pass and the Farm Club subscription) are processed by Apple on iPhone and iPad and by Google Play on Android, under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your card or bank details, your name or your store account. The game receives only the product identifier, a transaction reference, the price and currency the store charged and, for Farm Club, the subscription expiry date, which it needs to deliver and restore what you bought. These records are kept on your device.
Random rewards and drop rates
Some things in the game are random: eggs from the Hatchery (Farm, Fancy and Golden Eggs) hatch into a hen, and the Lucky Wheel gives a random prize. Hatchery eggs are bought with coins or gems, won in play, or included in some real-money offers (the Starter Basket, Hen Lover Bundle, Royal Coop, Emperor’s Coop and the Golden Pass track). Before you spend anything on one, the game shows its exact odds: the Hatchery shows them on every egg, and every real-money offer that contains a Hatchery egg has an “Odds” link next to its price. The figures are also listed in our Terms of Use.
Why we process data (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Analytics: your consent, given in the game (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); it is asked before anything is collected. You can withdraw it at any time as described above.
- Ads: your consent through Google’s consent form where it is required; otherwise Google’s own legal bases apply to its ad processing.
- Purchases, Game Center and Play Games: performing our contract with you (delivering what you bought and the features you turn on), with Apple or Google as the provider.
Google and Apple may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their policies.
Your rights and choices
You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time; you can also complain to your data-protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es). We hold no account or profile for you, and analytics uses a random identifier that we cannot tie to a person, so in most cases there is nothing we could look up. The in-game controls are the most direct way to act: the analytics switch, Ad privacy choices, iOS tracking settings, Reset progress, and deleting the app. You can also write to us at agustin@delegas.com.
Keeping and deleting data
- On your device: Settings → Reset progress deletes the saved game (purchases can be restored). Uninstalling the app removes its data from the device; device backups may keep a copy until you delete them.
- Cloud saves: stored in your iCloud or Google account until you delete them there (see above).
- Analytics: turning the switch off resets the identifier; Google keeps events for the retention period set in Google Analytics (at most 14 months).
- Purchases and ads: your purchase history and subscriptions are managed in your Apple or Google Play account; ad data is held by Google under its policy.
- Email: if you email us we keep the message for as long as needed to answer it, and delete it afterwards unless the law requires otherwise.
Android permissions
The Android app asks for: internet access and network state (ads, analytics, Google Play Games and Google Play billing), vibration (haptic feedback, which you can switch off in Settings), Google Play billing, and the advertising ID (ads, see above). It keeps the screen on while you play, which needs no permission. It does not ask for contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files, phone, SMS or notification permissions. Google’s ads and analytics libraries add a few standard permissions of their own (for example the Google Play install referrer and Android’s ad-services attribution).
Children
Piccolino Pop! is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where the age at which a person can consent to data processing is higher than 13 in your country, younger players need the permission of a parent or guardian before agreeing to the analytics, ad or tracking prompts or making a purchase. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and consented to anything, tell us and we will help remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date, and the game will ask again where a new consent is required.
